MSI Models of Success Program

Seeking to dramatically increase college completion, especially among first-generation students, low-income students, and students of color, the Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) Models of Success program brought together more than 25 MSIs and other organizations to improve postsecondary attainment. From 2009 through 2013, with support from Lumina Foundation, IHEP provided technical assistance to the participating institutions to improve the MSIs’ capacity to collect, analyze, and apply data and disseminated findings to inform the higher education success policy agenda at the institutional, state, and federal levels.
