The brief, Men of Color: Ensuring the Academic Success of Latino Males in Higher Education, brings needed clarity to the grave data and realities—based on a review of recent census and educational attainment statistics—of the growing gender gap in educational attainment among Latinas/os from K-12 through college completion. Although the future of our nation’s Latino male college student population is in peril, this brief introduces a “Blueprint for Action” to provide model program examples and action steps to best support Latino males to and through college and into the workforce.
