A Classification System for 2-Year Postsecondary Institutions

This report explores the development of a classification system for 2-year institutions that can provide a framework for analysis and contribute to the discourse in public policy. Also discussed are classification strategies put forth by researchers, outlining a proposed classification system based on data from the Integrated Postsecondary Data Analysis System (also known as IPEDS).
