Request for Proposals: Join the Postsecondary Data for Action Network
Are you using data to drive change on your campus? The Institute for Higher Education Policy and the Association for Institutional Research invite you to apply to the Postsecondary Data for Action Network, a new community of practice for institutional and system-level teams using data to improve student outcomes and increase college completion.
What is the Postsecondary Data for Action Network?
This national initiative brings together cross-functional teams of institutional researchers, administrators, faculty, and data professionals committed to tackling persistent barriers to student success. Selected teams will leverage their own administrative and institutional data to inform strategy, translate findings into actionable insights for policy and practice, and share campus perspectives with policy audiences.
Why Join Postsecondary Data for Action Network?
What to Expect
Participants will join a year-long learning community designed to support applied research and policy engagement. Support includes:
- A virtual kickoff convening
- 4 virtual touchpoints for shared learning on data practices for student success
- Visibility into federal and state postsecondary policy discussions
- Opportunities to engage with and inform ongoing policy topics
- A small honoraria for participants
- A culminating in-person convening in Summer/Fall 2026
This is not a traditional training program or analytics bootcamp and no data-sharing agreements are required. The Postsecondary Data for Action Network is a flexible, participant-driven initiative designed to showcase institutional researchers and their power to influence student success and systemic change.
Who Should Apply?
Participation is open to cross-functional teams of 3-6 members from across systems and two- and four-year institutions. Ideal teams include institutional researchers, administrators, faculty, and other decision-makers ready to make change through the strategic use of data!
