Members of the Postsecondary Data Collaborative (PostsecData) Encourage the National Center for Education Statistics to Add Additional Questions on How COVID-19 is Impacting Students

Washington, DC – 18 members and partners of the Postsecondary Data Collaborative (PostsecData) joined together to thank the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) for proactively adding questions to the National Postsecondary Student Aid Survey for 2020 (NPSAS:20) on how the novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) is affecting today’s students. The diverse group of higher education data stakeholders asks NCES to add additional questions to NPSAS:20, to capture how the public health crisis is impacting changes to program instruction and distance education, financial aid, and student relationships with institutions.
