IHEP and Members of the Today’s Students Coalition Show Support for the Emergency Grant Aid for College Students Act

The Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) joined more than 20 members of the Today’s Students Coalition(link is external) in endorsing the Emergency Grant Aid for College Students Act. Introduced by Sen. Tina Smith (D-MN), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA), and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), the bill creates a competitive grant program to help institutions provide emergency aid to students in need and connect them to public benefit services.
