Redefining Access for the 21st-Century Student

ihep

Funded by Trellis Foundation, the Redefining Access for the 21st Century Student initiative developed a road map for aligning research, policy, and practice to ensure greater attainment for all and reinvigorated the conversation around college access through documentary film. Our viewing guide for Degrees of Hope: Redefining Access for 21st Century Students and companion report Access to Attainment: An Access Agenda for 21st Century College Students follow the challenges five students faced in accessing higher education and outline policy- and practice-based solutions. The students include: a first-generation college student; a community college transfer student; a veteran; an online learner; and a returning adult.
