College Not Prison

IHEP led this 2017 social media and public awareness campaign to broaden understanding among policymakers, campus leaders, and the public about financial aid barriers facing students involved in the justice system. Together with other advocates and researchers, the #CollegeNotPrison campaign charged policymakers at all levels to fix broken systems that fail to recognize the value of education to individuals, communities, and our nation as a whole.
