Webinar: Scaling Supportive Student Experiences to Improve College Outcomes
The Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) will host a webinar, “Scaling Supportive Student Experiences to Improve College Outcomes,” on December 10, 2026 at 2:00 pm ET.
When students feel valued, supported, and connected on campus, they are more likely to stay enrolled and complete their degrees. Many institutions have promising efforts underway to strengthen students’ sense of belonging, but too often these efforts remain small, short-lived, or dependent on a few champions rather than becoming a standard part of how institutions serve students.
This virtual discussion will explore five guiding principles for sustaining and scaling evidence-based student experience and belonging strategies, drawn from IHEP’s upcoming brief, Advancing Belonging at Scale: Five Principles for Transforming the Student Experience. Panelists will share how they are implementing effective approaches to help students persist and complete, building momentum for change across their institutions, and using policy to scale what works.
Join us to hear from leaders doing this work and leave with practical strategies for making supportive student experiences the norm across higher education. The session will include time for audience Q&A.

Featuring:
- Eleanor Eckerson Peters, Senior Director of Research, IHEP
- Tammy Wyatt, Senior Vice Provost for Student Success, UT-San Antonio
