Webinar: Encouraging Family and Community Engagement to Support Young Men of Color

ihep

Given the important role that family plays in the lives of young men, it is imperative that schools and postsecondary institutions develop policies and practices that encourage families and community members to become actively involved in the educational experience of their young men. For example, institutions may develop community outreach programs for students transitioning into society through GED or vocational education programs, encourage men of color to serve as mentors, or develop collaborations with businesses that specifically focus on young men of color.
