Looking Back to Move Forward: A History of Federal Financial Aid

Lumina Foundation and the Institute for Higher Education Policy invite you to view the next installment of a Mini-Documentary Film Series on the historical and political context of federal financial aid.

Lumina Foundation and the Institute for Higher Education Policy have partnered to produce several films in a mini-documentary series on the historical and political context of federal financial aid.  The films discuss the origins of some of the Title IV financial aid programs and feature the historical perspectives of individuals who were directly involved in policy discussions that led to the creation of these programs.   This viewing will feature a film on the history of the Pell Grant program and an opportunity to engage in discussion with experts about what we can learn from the past as we think about new models of student financial support moving forward.
