Dahlia Tarver is the Communications Intern at the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP). In this role, she supports social media, media relations, website management, and the development of blogs and newsletters.

Dahlia is a senior at Spelman College in Atlanta studying History with a concentration in American Studies. At Spelman, she serves as a Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation Scholar and a Quarterman-Keller Scholar, engaging in community service and civic engagement work. Dahlia also serves as the Event Chair of the History Club, where she works to bring history to life through engaging campus events.

Prior to working at IHEP, Dahlia served as a research assistant at Princeton University’s Bridging Divides Initiative where she monitored political violence across the United States, and as a research assistant on other projects at Spelman College, Georgia Technical College, and Harvard University.
