New Legislation Would Provide Students Key Information About College Outcomes

This week, the College Transparency Act (CTA) was re-introduced in the House and Senate by a bipartisan group of legislators. By allowing the creation of a secure, privacy-protected postsecondary data system, this bipartisan, bicameral bill would help students and families, policymakers, institutions and employers to make informed choices by providing better information about college access, success, costs, and outcomes.

PostsecData Reponse to the Promoting Real Opportunity, Success, and Prosperity through Education Reform (PROSPER) Act

This letter is submitted on behalf of the 22 undersigned members of the Postsecondary Data (PostsecData) Collaborative, in response to the introduction of the Promoting Real Opportunity, Success, and Prosperity Through Education Reform (PROSPER) Act (H.R. 4508) to reauthorize the Higher Education Act of 1965.
