IHEP Urges Congress to Protect Federal Student Aid, Pell Grants

Today, the Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP) joined 575 organizations and institutions in sending a letter to all members of Congress, urging them to protect the federal student loan program and strengthen Pell Grants. The letter highlights the federal government's longstanding role in ensuring our nation has a highly-skilled workforce and notes that federal student aid has been an effective tool in helping Americans access higher education and career training. The signatories urge members of Congress not to cut or reallocate funds away from federal student aid programs.
