What to Expect at the 2010 Summer Academy?
This upcoming Summer Academy will target strategies and best practices to better prepare, enroll, retain, and graduate first-generation and underserved students. More broadly, the 2010 Summer Academy will target successful pathways for supporting student access and success such as early-college initiatives, summer and bridge programs, articulation and transfer options, and learning communities. The Summer Academy is the ideal forum for campus teams of three to 10 representatives to strategically work on increasing institutional capacity to better serve its students and to develop valuable partnerships and allies with other colleges and universities in the higher education community.
The Summer Academy will address student success through daily activities that will help institutional teams integrate best practices in student learning, use of data to develop cultures of evidence, and developing strategies to sustain campus change and build buy-in.
