Summer Academy MSI Financial Literacy Cohort

Building on the work of the symposium, in 2009 and 2010, a set of institutions, through support from USA Funds, were invited to attend the IHEP Summer Academy. These participating institutions utilized time at the Academy to refine their financial literacy offerings and assess the effectiveness of their programs in order to provide MSI-specific models for determining the degree to which financial literacy programs are prompting student success. Through continued support from USA Funds, a select cohort of past Summer Academy financial literacy teams will be invited to participate in the 2011 Summer Academy to share their already articulated success while also integrating components related to messaging, use of data, and additional capacity building.
