Frquently Asked Questions
Why should my campus attend the Summer Academy?
The Summer Academy is a great opportunity for a diverse group of invested campus stakeholders to meet outside of the campus environment and to focus on capacity building projects to enhance institutional efficiency. The Summer Academy builds in time to meet as a team and to establish critical connections within and across institutions all in a casual and supportive environment.
How many people from my institution may attend the Summer Academy?
We require at least three (3) participants from each institution, though more do attend. The average team is typically four (4) to five (5), but each school may bring up to 10.
Is there an opportunity for my institution to present or participate in a session?
Yes. When registering, each institution will be asked if they would like to share any expertise at the current Summer Academy. An advisory committee will then decide on who may be able to participate in a specific session.
Are students able to attend?
Yes; and we encourage this strongly. Student participation is key to many institutional projects and past academies even featured student panels.
How do I register?
Interested campuses may register through our online system.
