Leadership in Enhancing Postsecondary Data Policy and Analytics to Improve Student Outcomes

Tuesday, March 13, 2018

12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Institute for Higher Education Policy (IHEP), the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and the American Council on Education (ACE) are pleased to host a national data policy summit, Leadership in Enhancing Postsecondary Data Policy and Analytics to Improve Student Outcomes. This invitation-only event will bring together senior college and university leaders, institutional research and information technology professionals, and data policy experts to share ideas, develop strategies, and promote policies that improve student outcomes through thoughtful use of high-quality data. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 13, immediately following ACE's 100th Annual Meeting.

The summit will create a space for participants to discuss the state of the national postsecondary data ecosystem, identify core principles of a more cohesive and modernized data analytics function within institutions, and align federal policies and institutional priorities. Invited attendees will develop a common understanding of these issues and an effective agenda for action.
