“Strengthening Institutions to Improve National Competitiveness”
With the theme “Strengthening Institutions to Improve National Competitiveness” the 2008 Summer Academy focused on best practices in student success and effective strategies for institutional change across stakeholder groups, campus departments, and intuitions. The 2008 Summer Academy was motivated by the changing demographics of the U.S. population and the increasing need to educate the emerging majority populations.
